EDUCATIONAL MANAGER
Stella Zorpa
Stella has a long and established career as an English Language teacher in addition to extensive experience in training other teachers to teach English at all levels. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature, a MSc in Educational Leadership and is a PhD Candidate in Curriculum and Instruction. Stella founded SmartLearning in 2006 and has been teaching English there since then. She has also taught at state schools in Cyprus and has cooperated with private educational institutions and colleges both in Cyprus and Greece.
Moreover, she has been cooperating with the British Council Cyprus for over 15 years as both an English teacher, an IELTS trainer for teachers and is a member of the Pool of trainers of the British Council in Cyprus. Stella has participated in numerous seminars and conferences on diverse topics related to teaching and teacher training, including on new technologies, vocabulary and young learners, combining technology and materials to create effective lessons and motivate students, maximizing learning in the mixed-ability classroom.

Antonia Santi
Antonia Santi studied in New York and she holds a bachelor degree from the York College of City University. She has a teaching experience of 25 years. Over those 25 years of teaching, she attended a lot of seminars since she supports that a continuous improvement means that we never perceive current success as our final achievement. She has been a member of our team since 2012. She is a very generous teacher as she believes that a good teacher shares more than the facts, a good teacher shares values for a lifetime. The motto that reflects her 25 years of experience is that educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all. She is a person full of positive energy and observing her teaching you can realize that the acquisition of knowledge can be gained under a fun and friendly environment. Antonia speaks Greek and English fluently.

Rafael Tofa
Rafael is a graduate of the University of Cyprus with a B.A. in English Language and Literature and holds an M.A. in Educational Leadership from the Open University of Cyprus. During his undergraduate studies, he participated in the Erasmus+ Program during the Spring semester of his third year and attended seminars and courses on English language teaching and student assessment, particularly in his senior year. Since joining our team in 2020, Rafael has brought energy and enthusiasm to his teaching, embracing challenges and continuously developing his skills. He is fluent in Greek and English and has a basic knowledge of Italian.

Maria Theodorou
Maria graduated the European University in Cyprus in 2018 and holds a BSc in Computer Science. Maria has been working with our team since 2019 and teaches the ECDL courses. She has done research in Securing e-voting: essential considerations and also has CISCO certificates. Maria speaks Greek and English very fluently.
MATHEMATICS
Soteroula Hadjithoma
Soteroula Hadjithoma holds a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Patras and has been teaching since 2008. She stays consistently informed about the latest updates and guidelines from the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sport, and Youth (MOEC) regarding the mathematics curriculum for all grade levels in public schools. Her dedication ensures her teaching methods align with current educational standards and practices, providing her students with a high-quality learning experience.

Constantina Petrou
Constantina Petrou is a graduate of the University of Patras, holding a B.A. from the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education. She also holds an M.A. in Education Studies from Manchester Metropolitan University. Passionate about teaching and dedicated to working with primary school students, Constantina is currently pursuing an online TEFL course to deepen her understanding of English language teaching. Outside of her professional interests, she has a deep love for art and theatre, often participating in theatrical plays as a hobby.
